This is the mega-blockbuster of the 20th Century. Really!  Tarzan was a huge success for Ed, and an icon of the 20th century. Written in 1911/1912 and first published in 1912 by All-Story magazine, Tarzan was every much as big a hit as Harry Potter has been in our own time.  We take great pleasure in presenting it to you - and hopefully to a new audience for this timeless classic.

Late breaking news - we take special pride that we are presenting you with the unexpurgated and unabridged 1914 McClurg first editon text!  In 1963, Ballantine Books was authorized by the Burroughs estate to issue a censored version of Tarzan, so as not offend any civil rights era mentalities. This bowdlerized text has permeated the information space such that any printed texts of this work you may get today are very likely to be the censored version. We are especially proud to offer this work as Edgar Rice Burroughs himself wanted it presented to the world. 100% what ERB wished.
